Grained is a group exhibition, curated by Playte, positioning rice as a powerful symbol of sustenance, resilience, and interdependence - opening fresh conversations about cultural experience in contemporary Australia and the wider Global South.

Through photography, film, and community voice, Through Our Eyes opens new imaginative futures of solidarity, dignity, and joy grounded in lived experience and creative resilience.
A Conch Choir showcases a collaborative installation by artist Lucreccia Quintanilla and composer. The work centres the culturally resonant call of the conch, grounded in sound histories, improvisation and more-than-human collaboration.
Musician Ria Soemardjo will activate the gallery with a live, improvised performance unfolding spontaneously throughout the space.
To coincide with the Sydney Road Street Party, in 2026 we will take over Dawson & Glenlyon Street Intersection in Bulleke bek(Brunswick) The streets will come alive, full of creativity with our annual Blak Dot Artists Market.
